Change in Plans! Australia is overwhelmed with the response they have received to their call for help and are asking us to hold off on making things for them so we have decided to take help some of the animal rescuers right here in Rhode Island.  The Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island always has a need for pouches, nests, blankets and we are happy to help!

Join Meraki Stitch Studio and Beyond the Bolt as we sew and crochet to help the displaced animals in Australia.

January 19th, 11:00 - 5:00

Can you sew? We will be making wildlife pouches and wallaby/kangaroo hanging pouches.

All materials will be provided, as well as instructions for how to make each item. We have a few machines available, but feel free to bring your own.

Can you crochet? We will be crocheting round nests and rectangular pouches for animals, birds, rodents, bunnies, etc.

Acrylic yarn will be provided for nests and rodent pouches. Please bring your own size H hook.

If you want to make a kangaroo pouch they are REQUIRED to be 100% wool. We will not be providing wool yarn, if you would like to make these we have the pattern available for you, but please bring your own yarn.

Send us an email or give us a call if you plan on attending so we know how many people to expect. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
